Embarking on the 25 days of retreat over the period of more than two months, I am so thankful and grateful to deepen my spiritual journey in sacred silence with God and has redeemed fully the integration of self in spirit and soul. My dream and prayer has come true to experience the inner constant peace and loving myself unconditionally. As my soul calls me home more and more and I choose to listen ever deeper, never did I know what amazing gifts I embrace during this retreat. Thank you Nita for journeying with me. Never would I know if I have not taken up the invitation of these 25 days of contemplative retreat and listen deeply to my soul, I won't have discovered the wonders. I encourage everyone to take time for this retreat. Contemplative retreat in silence is going to be my annual journey . I am looking forward to further deepen my discernment in the 10 days in May. The 3 days online retreat had given me a whole new experience, I get to know Jesus and close to him, truly knows him, met him, experience with him, and believe in him. The Holy Spirit that he rewarded to me is not of cowardice, but strong and brave; he is my shield, the source of my wisdom and ability. With God’s love, there is no fear. Thanks God for the chance for a silent retreat at St Anne’s Church and St Joachim Spiritual Centre which not only provided me with a quiet and peaceful environment to connect with my inner self and God, but also showed me the love and abundance of God through the community here. With the help of Nita, God guided me gently to face the fear inside of me, to prepare me for the path ahead as prepared by Him. In clarifying some of the mis-concepts about Jesus, there was a breakthrough in my friendship with Jesus. Jesus is my friend and brother even though He is a King. I could feel His company during my stay in St Anne’s Church and I am sure He will continue to accompany me in my future journey. I was encouraged by His acceptance and the words of bible to trust in Him. St Anne’s Church and the community here are blessed.

感謝主引領我到St Anne’s Church 有8天避靜的時間, 這裡寜靜祥和的環境讓我能接觸自己的內心及主, 這裡的群體也彰顯了基督的愛和豐富。在屬靈導師Nita的指導下,神讓我正視內心的恐懼, 好預備我繼續走主為我安排的路程。Nita也協助我澄清了一些對主的誤解, 讓我和主耶穌的友誼有了突破。主雖然是君王, 卻是我的朋友和弟兄。在避靜期間, 我感受到主的陪伴, 我也確信主會在日後陪我走前面的路。是主的愛和聖經的話語鼓勵我信靠祂。St Anne’s Church這個大家庭是神所祝福的。
Lucy (30 day retreat)
Nita was my spiritual director for a few retreats, and it had been such a blessing to have her accompany me in my spiritual journey. Nita is a mystic. She radiates joy and warmth because she lives out the joy and compassion of her faith. Her deep connection to the love of God was reflected on how she directed me, helping me to experience deeply this love. She is a woman of wisdom. She listened deeply and helped me find clarity in my inner movements, make discernments and attain spiritual freedom. While she is a joyful person, she has the capacity to be present to pain and suffering, and provide a holding which made me feel secure and loved. Her training and experience in spirituality, clinical pastoral care, body work, yoga and healing enable her to provide spiritual direction in a holistic, open and compassionate manner. My experience of spiritual direction in the past and then with Nita was like going from Confucius (structured DOing) to Lao Tzu (contemplative BEing), for she directed with the wisdom of a mystic. She did not give me answers but helped me to get in touch with my true self, which was like the sun hidden beneath the clouds.
The spiritual journeys she walked with me were profound and grace filled, and she is a gift from God,
